Hera, along with her husband Jonathan, serve as the Lead Pastors of Harvest City Church. Prior to succeeding the Founding Pastors, Joe and Rose Dejesa, in 2015, they led the Youth/Young Adult ministry, special events and creative efforts of the church for many years. She is also a gifted teacher and speaker often known for her excellence in leading events, down-to-earth personality, and heart for worship and prayer.
Hera worked in education for eight years as a teacher and Compliance Specialist. She was awarded “First Year Educator of the Year” during her first year of teaching. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and earned her teacher certification shortly after.
Jonathan and Hera are high school sweethearts and have known each other since 1997. They met at Harvest City Church. They have two children: Judah and Jada.
